Sportfishing convertibles and motor yachts from New Bern, North Carolina.
Hatteras launched its first fibreglass sportfisher in 1960, when a production boat that size in the new material was still a gamble, and the convertible with a tower and a cockpit remains the boat the name brings to mind. The motor yacht line grew out of the same hulls and the same heavy, dry, sea-kindly reputation.
