Kadey-Krogen

James Krogen and Art Kadey founded the company in 1977 to build ocean-going trawlers to Krogen’s designs, the Krogen 42 first. The boats are full displacement, single or twin engined, and built in Taiwan to a brief that puts range and stability ahead of speed.

They are bought by people who intend to go a long way slowly, and the used market reflects that: hours are high, systems are extensive and the owners tend to keep records. The listings here say what each brokerage published about both.
