Embark on an unforgettable journey through Alaska’s pristine wilderness aboard MY LADY ALASKA, a 97-foot Broward motor yacht that expertly blends rugged capability with refined luxury. Purpose-built for exploring the demanding waters of Southeast Alaska, this vessel is helmed by a seasoned, Alaska-based crew whose deep local knowledge and fishing expertise elevate every voyage—from navigating remote anchorages to guiding world-class angling experiences. Built in 2001 and maintained with a recent refit, the yacht delivers exceptional comfort, safety, and endurance for extended expeditions far off the beaten path. Inside, guests will find five spacious staterooms, including an elegant on-deck primary suite, a generous VIP suite, standard VIP stateroom, and two guest staterooms, each with ensuite heads. The enclosed, air-conditioned aft deck offers panoramic views and seating for ten—an ideal setting to dine on the day’s fresh catch while whales surface nearby and bald eagles glide overhead.

The best time to visit Alaska depends on the experiences you’re seeking, with exceptional opportunities for both bear and whale viewing throughout the season. Bear viewing is a highlight, with brown bears commonly seen along the shores of Southeast Alaska from late July through early September during the salmon runs, while Katmai’s renowned bear viewing season begins in early August as salmon arrive in full force. Black bears are typically best observed from May through July, when they are active along shorelines, estuaries, and forested areas feeding on emerging vegetation and early salmon. Whale activity follows seasonal feeding cycles, with May to June ideal for gray whales and resident orcas feeding on herring and salmon. From July to August, peak whale season brings humpbacks, and even near Anchorage, while September offers quieter cruising conditions and excellent late-season viewing, including dramatic bubble-net feeding displays.
