Air Conditioning

Cooled accommodation, and usually heating from the same units.

Air conditioning on a yacht is a chilled-water or direct-expansion system with air handlers in each cabin and a seawater-cooled condenser, and on anything used in the Mediterranean, Florida or the Caribbean it is assumed rather than listed. It matters more on the boats where it is not standard: older yachts, smaller ones and those refitted for a warmer market.

The listing will say what the brokerage published; the capacity in BTU and the age of the compressors are the numbers to ask the broker for.
