Stabilizers at Anchor

Stabilisation that works with the yacht stopped.

Zero-speed stabilisers, gyroscopic or fin, take the roll out of a yacht at anchor, and they have changed how yachts are used more than any other feature of the past twenty years: an anchorage that was untenable in a swell is now a night’s rest. Gyros are the usual fit on yachts below 30 metres and fins with zero-speed capability above. Whether a system works at anchor or only under way is why the wire keeps them as two separate features.
