Beach Club

A stern space at the waterline, opened up for swimming and lounging.

A beach club is the transom area of a larger yacht arranged as a room: a fold-down platform or side terraces, a shower, often a sauna or gym behind it, and a direct step into the water. It arrived on superyachts in the 2000s and has worked its way down to yachts around 25 metres, where it is usually the tender garage with the tender lifted out.

Whether the space is a full lounge or a swim platform with a shower depends entirely on the yacht, and the photographs on each listing will show which.
