Life Raft

An inflatable raft for abandoning ship.

A life raft is required equipment on any commercially registered yacht and carried on nearly every private one that goes offshore. It is listed as a feature because rafts have a service interval and a capacity, and both are things a buyer needs to know: an out-of-date raft is a cost, and a raft smaller than the number of berths is a limit on how the yacht can be used.
